Astral plays favorites, but his collection of followers extends beyond them. They know they're not favorites, but they still feel a sense of belonging and purpose in the Connection, so they stay. Also the lack of transportation outside of the compound in the middle of the woods is also a deterrent from leaving. So they stay!
The following is a list of other Connection members in order of when they joined + the second generation Connection members born into the cult. Except for Elsie. She's not part of the Connection and never will be because she hates Astral and all that she stands for. Luckily (for her), she's more powerful than him and doesn't consider him a threat.
